The Panth-Punjab project serves to facilitate critical discussions that analyze our current sociopolitical conditions and reflect on the future of our sangarsh (struggle).

About Us

What We Do:

Following the violent repression of the Sikh jujharoo lehar in the early 1990s, we have seen our local, regional, geopolitical realities rapidly transform. Accurately pinpointing these changes is pivotal to identifying the current problems we need to address today and the challenges in our path forward.

The nation-building and state-building projects of the Indian state have entered a new phase, featuring the steady consolidation of fascism and Hindu nationalism, unbridled crony capitalism, increasing centralization, and ongoing state repression of dissident communities. Not only has an ascendant Indian elite begun to flex its muscles on the global stage, but the political, social, and economic domination of Delhi has been further solidified within the subcontinent with the support of new foreign allies.

This project will function as a collective platform for a new generation to analyze the context we exist in, map out the networks of power mobilized against us, and mark the signposts on our path towards liberation.

How We Work:

We put our guiding principles and focus to work through live discussions with experts, scholars, and activists. These discussions are collated as resources and made available to the public on our website and YouTube channel.

We also publish written material authored by subject matter experts and activists on the frontlines. Our primary method of distributing our written material is through the Panth-Punjab Periodical and our Substack.
